My dissertation in the Centrosome and Cilia Biology Lab under Dr. Karthigeyan Sir was a truly enriching and eye-opening experience. Coming in with limited knowledge, I developed a deep curiosity for cell biology and gained valuable hands-on research skills. The supportive and welcoming lab environment made me feel involved, encouraged, and motivated to learn every day. I also gained exposure to cell culture techniques, immunological methods, and a better understanding of how real scientific research is conducted. Dr. Karthigeyan Sir’s guidance, constant encouragement, and emphasis on self-learning greatly contributed to my academic and professional growth. This experience has strengthened my passion for science and will remain a significant milestone in my research journey.
